• First of all, open the facebook app. Then login to your account if you have not logged in yet. If your device does not have the facebook app, you will find it in your play store.
• Then, tap on the hamburger icon which is three horizontal lines. After that, scroll down to the bottom and tap on the “Settings & privacy” option.
• Then select the “Settings” option.
• Now, scroll down and look for the “Your information” section. From there, select the “Access your information” option.
• Now, select the “Your activity across facebook” option.
• Now, go to the “Stories” section and tap on the “Archived stories” option
• You will see the stories you have posted one day ago or more.
• Now, tap on the three dot icon and then select the “Delete” option.
• That’s it. You have successfully deleted your story.

If you are using Slightly Older Version of Facebook App

There are slight changes in the settings option on the older facebook app. So, follow this way:

• So, first of all, open the facebook app. Then login to your account if you have not logged in yet.
• Now, tap on the hamburger icon which is three horizontal lines. Then, scroll down to the bottom and tap on the “Settings & privacy” option.
• From there, select the “Settings” option.
• Now scroll down and look for the “Your Facebook Information” section. From there, select the “Activity log” option.
• After that, tap on the “Filters” button and then select the “Categories” option.
• Now tap on the “Your posts” option and then select the “Your stories” option.
• You will see the stories you have posted one day ago or more.
• Now, tap on the three dot icon and then select the “Delete” option.
• That’s it. You have successfully deleted your story.

You can also See Your Old Stories on Messenger

• First of all, open your facebook messenger app. 
• Then tap on your profile picture icon which is located on the top left side of the messenger app.
• Now scroll down and look for the “Story” option. Tap on that option.
• After that, select the “View story archive” option.
• Here you will see your archived stories.
• So, tap on the stories and you will see it is showing you in full view. Now, while you are seeing the story, tap on the three dot icon from the top and then select the “Delete” option.
• That’s it. You have successfully deleted your story.
